Hubble captures the largest planet nursery ever seen
NASA's Hubble telescope has imaged the biggest known protoplanetary disk β a giant, chaotic disk of dust and gas around a young star, enough material to form multiple planets. "Planet nurseries can be much more active and chaotic than we expected," said lead researcher Kristina Monsch.
